Here’s a chart that puts into simple words and figures a system that shows no benefits:

What this work prove is that profit is more important to the people in charge of the health system than the health of the people that generate their profits.
Just over a week ago the FDA pushed to approve a skin cancer treatment when side effects are varied and numerous, while Cannabis Science is publishing more case studies where patients actually get rid of their cancer.
If such a powerful institution supports a drug with a list of side effects that can all be treated, as well as the ailment itself, by a safer alternative, how can people keep on trusting them and allow them to behave like that?

I sometimes wonder if the Governments are actually too concerned about the population increasing. So they leave cancer to kill people to lower that increase percentage. I might be wrong but it seems like the only logical explanation for not legalising it.

I’m not sure about the statement about the noneffectiveness of antidepressents (where does that come from?), but agree with everything else. Here is another new unusual essay which explains why we have to end the marijuana prohibition:

I recently listened to a podcast with Mel Thomas, cannabis activist, grower and author. He’s pretty convinced that pharma companies keep prohibition going because of the money.
Hey,
My name is Rischa, and I’m a grad student at St. John’s University in New York. I’m doing research on the way people think about smoking pot cigarettes and drinking. Research is important to me because healthcare providers use studies like this one to make decisions about our health care.
The survey takes about 15 minutes and can be found on thinkingresearch.wordpress.com Please check out the study and pass it on!
Cheers!

The strong political influence and corruption is the only reason why pharmaceuticals has been accepted by America. Grow big and grow organic with http://www.kelp4less.com
Wow, I had read a lot about how corporate America and the FDA was against medicinal marijuana and never really understood it, but now I definitely do. $260 million annually for the FDA? How did it get to this point?
Yet the pharmaceutical company aspect confuses me… I recently learnt that throughout the latter half of the 19th century cannabis-related products were the most prescribed medications in America… wouldn’t US corporations currently be lobbying for marijuana to be back on the market, so they could make even more unholy amounts of profit? Or are they too afraid that most users will simply smoke instead of accepting another pill to swallow?
